Gary Hicks (1955-63) published his first novel SHEEP TOWN in September 2019, at the age of 75. It is a gentle satire on political life in the South Wales Valleys in the 1960s, where he was a reporter on the Western Mail. “A grand yarn, nicely told”, according to Lord Neil Kinnock.
